This site features the work of Peter Savage, a hockey journalist based in the South of England.

Peter started the hockey web site www.talkhockeyradio.co.uk in 2006 but before that he was a regular contributor to the old Hockey Sport magazine for 10 years. Always a keen photographer, he developed the hockey side of his activities to support his articles in Hockey Sport. The creation of TalkHockeyRadio coincided with Peter going digital, from which point he started to take his photography more seriously. In addition to providing action pictures for his web site, he has supplied images to newspapers and magazines. His images are also widely used by hockey equipment manufacturers in their brochures and advertising. Peter was the only English photographer in Amsterdam when England's men won the European Cup and his images have been widely used by England Hockey, magazines and the web sites of national newspapers.

Peter is a member of the Sports Journalists Association, the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) and a former chairman of the Hockey Writers Club. He was CRB checked in 2008 to work with children.

The help and support of our sponsors, Mercian Hockey, and our camera suppliers, Park Cameras, is gratefully acknowledged.
